DashLog Terms of Service

Use DashLog safely and responsibly.

DashLog helps you record drives, review routes, and view driving statistics. It is not a navigation, emergency, accident prevention, or legal proof service.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using DashLog, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

DashLog is a drive logging app. It can record route, speed, distance, duration, and related statistics depending on the app version and device permissions.

DashLog is not a navigation service, driver assistance system, accident prevention system, emergency service, insurance product, or legal evidence service.

3. Safety responsibilities

You are responsible for driving safely and complying with all applicable traffic laws and device-use rules. Do not interact with the app while driving if doing so is unsafe or prohibited. Stop the vehicle safely before changing settings, reviewing records, or handling the device.

4. Local data and permissions

DashLog depends on permissions such as location, notifications, and storage access depending on the feature used. You can manage permissions through your device settings.

Drive records and route data are stored on your device. You are responsible for managing storage, device backups, and deletion. Data may be lost if you delete the app, reset the device, clear storage, revoke required permissions, or if the device fails.

5. Premium features and purchases

DashLog may offer premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Any purchase is handled by the applicable app store or payment platform. Subscription pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are governed by the relevant store terms and the purchase screen shown at the time of purchase.

If premium features are not available in your build or region, this section applies only when those features are later enabled.

6. Third-party services

DashLog may use third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Maps, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play. These services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. DashLog is not responsible for third-party services except where required by applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms when the app, legal requirements, or operational policies change. The updated Terms will be made available through the app or distribution page.

8. Disclaimers

DashLog is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free logging, map accuracy, route accuracy, speed accuracy, address accuracy, or complete preservation of data in every environment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DashLog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, data loss, missed logs, inaccurate records, accidents, traffic violations, or losses arising from use or inability to use the app.
